		<description>the first half of verse 28 is speaking to the divorced (loosed).  the second half of verse 28 is speaking to the betrothed or virgins.  otherwise he would be repeating himself in the same verse.

paul is not contradicting himself. in verse 10 he never says it is a sin to remarry.  actually he says to not divorce then immediately says, but if you do...  then later says if you remarry, it is not a sin.

your legalistic view of this and other scriptures is what keeps many divorced people in a world of guilt and misery.  divorce is wrong.  divorce is a sin.  however it is not unforgivable and life can go on.</description>
