		<description>I think Richard is trying to persuade us that the preacher&#039;s MESSAGE is much more important than his ORATORY. I&#039;d agree. Oratory can build large congregations, but truth can build real saints. Too many preachers are far more interested in the cleverness of their delivery than in the truth of it.</description>

		<description>Richard, I get the impression when I read Acts 2 &amp; 3, as well as his epistles, that Peter was quite an orator, rough though he may have been.

Do you think it was only because he was given the words by the Spirit, or did he have talent for that to begin with? Considering his personality, I think he may have already had such a disposition, which God used for His purposes. (Of course, God could make even a donkey talk, if He wished.)</description>
