I was able to dig up “the heavenlies” in one translation, not sure if any others use the same phrase.

Darby Bible Translation – Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ;

I also learned this passages as “the heavenlies.” I thought a translation actually had this, but I could not find it. Thanks for your comments.

You have a nice site here and you bring up an interesting thought on how epouranios is handled.
I’m curious on what the rest of the ESVSB Notes say on each of the other 4 verses as well. The NET uses “heavenly realms” & the HCSB uses “heavens.” The Greek literally means “heavenlies” and that was what I was taught as well. I personally like “realms” over “places” too. The NIVSB does score high in offering its explanation of what Paul was trying to get across.
