One cannot be more than Christ. To add a label or some other name to His is the height of arrogance. People have come up to me and said: “I’m a Presbyterian, always will be a Presbyterian, and will die a Presbyterian!” And you can insert any other label in place of Presbyterian, such as Baptist or Episcopalian. . . and you get my meaning.

I’m sorry, to do so, is not only a sign of hauter, but a form of idolatry.
