I also notice that change since I read out of the CSB primarily, and the others you mentioned as well. I actually prefer the way the NLT choose to render it, rather than the consistent manner that CSB has chosen to do so. For that matter if I had to choose one method of translation, I would go with what the TNIV did, instead of CSB. I think that the CSB translation may not gain Charismatics or Pentecostals readers because of their choice in how they translate this word. And this will only aid in propagating the myth that it is Baptist translation. Again I do think that the NLT made the right choice in it's translation of it usage.
